Safe Families for Children

Safe Families for Children works to prevent family abuse and neglect by providing resources and safe custodial alternatives. 

Women/Infant/Children (WIC)

Women, Infants and Children (WIC) helps pregnant women, new mothers and young children up to five years old eat well, stay healthy and be active with the following resources:

UCR and the local community have a number of emergency food assistance resources and programs to put food on your table quickly.  

Utility Assistance

If you cannot make your utility payment, Community Action Partnership (CAP) can help with two one-time assistance programs. Eligibility is determined by household income, priority points and energy burden.
