Peer Mentor Program

Hey, all of you undergrads!

PEER MENTORS ARE HERE TO ASSIST YOU!

Located at the Women's Resource Center

Who can get help with a peer mentor?

Mentors are available to any UCR undergraduate student.

How do I get a peer mentor?

Either visit a mentor at the Women's Resource Center during the hours listed below or fill out the Peer Mentor-Mentee Match Up Form. To assure that we link you up with an appropriate sponsor, please print this page out and deliver the following information to the Women's Resource Center or Student Life, or email the information to Carrie Kennedy, Peer Mentor Coordinator, at ckenn001@student.ucr.edu.

Who are the peer mentors, and how can I be a mentor?

Mentors are chosen from your fellow upperclassmen here at UCR. Currently, our mentors are members of the Psi Chi Psychology National Honor Society, but we hope to recruit excellent students throughout the campus in the near future. Each Mentor has undertaken basic counseling skills trainings and is prepared to assist you. If you are interested in being a Peer Mentor for 2005-2006 contact Rosalva Almasan at ralma001@student.ucr.edu and she will give you the necessary information.
